b. Using a flat blade screwdriver, loosen the round head screw at the
left of the switch by rotating it counterclockwise.
c. Move the switch to increase/decrease the distance between the strap
and the cylinder end by the original correction required to adjust the
shock absorber stop position and meet the goal in Section B., above.
d. Retighten the round head screw at the left of the switch by rotating
it clockwise.
30. Close the Left Side Operator Door.
31. Rotate the Compressed Air Supply valve 1/4 turn counterclockwise to
turn the compressed air supply ON.
32. Re-check the shuttle forward reed switch status:
At the Diagnostics Menu, read the shuttle forward reed switch status
(Input 17):
GOAL: Input 17 should be ON when the shuttle is in its forward
position.
a. If the screen displays 17-OFF, repeat the reed switch adjustment.
b. If the screen displays 17-ON, go to Step 33.
33. When adjustment is satisfactory, reassemble:
a. Rotate the Compressed Air Supply valve 1/4 turn clockwise to
turn the compressed air supply OFF.
b. Open the Left Side Operator Door.
c. Push the shuttle assembly to the rear of the machine, exposing the
air cylinder.
d. Replace the stainless steel air cylinder cover and four socket head
screws.
e. Pull the assembly to the front of the machine.
f. Replace the access cover and four flat head screws.
g. Replace both cleaning stations in the machine.
