3. Using a 1/2-in. open end wrench, loosen the 5/16-in. bolt securing the
switch actuator by rotating it counterclockwise.
4. While looking at the monitor screen, slide the switch actuator bar up or
down in the slot as needed until the switch is tripped.
GOAL: Input 2 should be ON when the left spindle is in its down
position.
Note: The spindle must still be in down position.
5. When the goal is met, retighten the 5/16-in. bolt by rotating it clockwise
to snug.
6. Go on to the Right Spindle Down Limit Switch, immediately below.
RIGHT SPINDLE DOWN LIMIT SWITCH
Repeat the procedure for the Left Spindle Down Limit Switch, making the
following substitutions:
• At the Diagnostics Menu, check for Input 4.
• Find the lower limit switch and switch actuator for the right spindle,
located at the front of the upper bridge and nearest the right spindle.
D. WHEN ADJUSTMENT OF BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT DOWN
SWITCHES IS SATISFACTORY
1. Replace the bridge covers.
2. Close all doors to the machine.
3. Power up the machine and perform the home sequence routine.
