9. Examine the position of the left side polish position lock:
a. Insert the mirror under the lowest black platform of the second table
area and between the platform and the white cabinet wall separating
the second table area from the elevator area.
b. From above, focus the flashlight on the mirror while rotating the
mirror until the left side table locking mechanism is visible.
GOAL: When the locks have been engaged at the Diagnostics
Menu, the locking block should have rotated 90 ° to a
position parallel to the front of the machine.
10. If either lock is not fully engaged, correct by following the Adjustment
Procedure, immediately below.
If both locks are fully engaged, skip to the Carrier/Stainless Pan
Positioning, below.
C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
Readjust the large front shock absorber:
Note: This readjustment will throw the previous adjustment slightly off.
1. Turn the compressed air OFF.
2. Using a 1 1/8-in. open end wrench or crowfoot, loosen the jam nut
adjacent to the shock absorber mounting bracket by rotating it
counterclockwise.
3. Back off the large front shock absorber just until the locking blocks can
fully engage.
4. Retighten the jam nut by rotating it clockwise.
FINAL
GOAL:
With the locking blocks fully engaged, the table center
line should be as near to the centerline of the spindles
as possible.
