Strasbaugh Software Calibration Procedures
Version 4.0 - February 1998 10 - 21
DIAGNOSTICS MENU
This menu permits viewing of all inputs, all outputs, all flags, and many
counters.
It also permits changing outputs, flags, and counters. If any choice is made, Stat:
will change to Diag Mode. When in Diag Mode, "Freeze Flag" 99 will be
turned on. This flag freezes most flowcharts in the FloPro control software,
preventing the control software from competing with the changes you make.
This flag will be cleared when the Diag Mode no longer exists (Manual Mode
entered, maintenance group of menus exited, or abort/reset key pressed).
Viewing and making changes are separate functions permitting observation of
one item type while changing another. For example, shuttle control outputs can
be toggled while observing shuttle position inputs.
Unlike the Manual Control Menu, the Diagnostic Menu provides no
protection against illegal choices. THEREFORE, CHANGES TO
OUTPUTS, FLAGS, OR COUNTERS SHOULD ONLY BE PERFORMED
BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
An abort/reset or menu selection other than the Manual Control or Calibration
Menus will reset the machine.
