Maintenance Model 6DS-SP Planarizer
10 - 24 Version 4.0 - February 1998
CALIBRATION/CONFIGURATION MENU
This menu permits entry of values related to machine calibration and
configuration. Calibration includes the adjustments made by technicians (servo
positions, force scale factors, etc.). Configuration includes settings that either
must be a certain way depending on machine options (second table installed,
etc.) or settings that are seldom changed (units of force measurement, etc.).
Many of the calibration variables have numerical limit protections to prevent
potentially damaging values. For example, every servo calibration variable has
this protection. A warning will show if an illegal entry has been made.
Note also that this menu will not permit changing bridge calibration values if the
spindles are not up. A warning will show if this is attempted.
For details on data entry, refer to User Interface Description in the Operator
Functions chapter of the 6DS-SP Operations manual.
EXPANDED, DESCRIPTIVE CALIBRATION VARIABLES LIST
The Calibration Variables List, located in Maintenance Volume 2, Appendix A,
includes the variable name and number, nominal values, an extended description,
and condensed calibration procedures where possible.
