3. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu increase/decrease the value of
variable 2, Bridge load position, in increments of .1 inch or less as
needed to meet the goal:
WARNING: The value for the bridge load position
variable is always negative. A positive
number may do severe damage to the
machine!
Notes: Changing the value of variable 2 while the bridge is in its
load position via the Manual Control Menu automatically
repositions the bridge to the new location.
The spindles must be UP before the bridge can be moved.
a. Increase/decrease the variable value as needed to meet the goal.
b. Reevaluate the bridge position by repeating Section B., above, and
repeat the positioning adjustment, changing the variable value in
smaller increments as needed.
c. Repeat checking and adjusting until the goal has been met.
D. WHEN A SATISFACTORY ADJUSTMENT IS ACHIEVED
1. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Left Spindle Up/Down
and choose Up to raise the left spindle.
2. Select Right Spindle Up/Down and choose Up to raise the right spindle.
3. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu, select Bridge Move and choose
Pol Tbl 1 to move the bridge to polish position.
4. Close the Polish Area Right Side Operator Door.
