SLURRY PH TRANSMITTER
CALIBRATION
Refer to the Signet 3-8700 pH Transmitter manual for further information on the
transmitter.
A. BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Tools Required
• pH 4 buffer solution
• pH 10 buffer solution
• three beakers
• small flat blade screwdriver
• clean water
• clean cloth
Turn Machine Power On
Follow the procedures detailed in the Operator Functions chapter of the 6DS-SP
Operations manual.

B. CHECK AND WET CALIBRATE THE TRANSMITTER
1. Prepare the pH buffer solutions by filling a small beaker with one inch
of each solution.
2. Fill a third beaker with clean water.
3. Turn off the slurry diaphragm pumps, located at the right rear of the
machine.
4. Locate the pH transmitter, mounted just above the diaphragm pumps.
