1. Read and record the pH transmitter’s LCD display.

2. Read and record the monitor screen’s status display for slurry 1 pH.

3. While monitoring the transmitter’s LCD display, adjust the zero
potentiometer:
GOAL: The transmitter’s display reading must equal the monitor
screen’s status display value for pH.
• Using a small screwdriver, rotate the adjusting screw labeled R36
as needed until the transmitter’s display meets the goal.
For our example, the R36 adjusting screw should be rotated until
the transmitter’s LCD display reads 7.5.
