Turn Machine Power On
Follow the procedures detailed in the Operator Functions chapter of the 6DS-SP
Operations manual.
TABLE CURRENT OFFSET
A. CHECK PRESENT CALIBRATION
1. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu, select Page Down to display
variable 63, Table current offset.
Example: 1.0
2. Read and record the value of the Table 1 display in the screen status
area:
TABLES 1 2
Spd .0
Load -0.9 amps
Temp .0
3. Compare the screen status area display for Left Spindle Load with 0:
GOAL: The status screen display for Table 1 Load must be equal
to 0 (- 0.0 or 0.0).
Example: -0.9 _ 0
If the TABLE 1 LOAD screen display is equal to 0, no adjustment is
necessary.
If the TABLE 1 LOAD screen display is not equal to 0, make the
needed adjustment by following the steps in the Adjustment Procedure
section (immediately below).
