NESLAB TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT
POWERING UP
At the 6DS-SP
1. Power up the 6DS-SP (follow procedures detailed in the Operator Functions
chapter of the 6DS-SP Operations manual).
At the Neslab Temperature Control Unit
2. Move the <ON/OFF> switch to its on position.
3. Move the <START> switch to its start position.
4. Set the Heater Enable switch:
a. For hot processes, move the <HEATER ENABLE> switch to its
enabled position.
or
b. For cold processes, move the <HEATER ENABLE> switch to its
disabled position.
5. Set the temperature at the front panel:
a. While holding in the <SET TEMPERATURE> push button,
b. rotate the dial as needed until the desired temperature is displayed.
POWERING DOWN
At the Neslab Temperature Control Unit
1. Move the <HEATER ENABLE> switch to its disabled position.
2. Move the <ON/OFF> switch to its off position.
