3. Observe motion while the arm descends:
a. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Cond Arm Up/Dn
and choose Up to raise the arm.
b. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Cond Arm Up/Dn
and choose Down to lower the arm.
b. Note the arm motion:
GOAL: The arm descends slowly and smoothly (doesn’t bang).
If the goal is not met, correct the motion by following the
procedures in Section C., immediately below.
If the goal is met, skip to When Satisfactory Adjustment Is
Achieved, below.
C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Turn the machine power to OFF by pressing the red <EMERG OFF>
button located on the control panel.
2. Remove the Right Front Service Door.
3. Rotate the adjustment knob of the bottom in-line flow regulator of the
device assembly up/down cylinder clockwise 2 turns.
4. Check the adjustment by repeating Section B., above.
a. If the goal is not met, repeat rotating the adjustment knob of the
regulator in 2-turn clockwise increments and retesting as needed
until the goal is met.
b. When the goal is met, go on to When Satisfactory Adjustment Is
Achieved, below.
D. WHEN SATISFACTORY ADJUSTMENT IS ACHIEVED
1. Close all doors.
2. Power up and home the machine.
