Turn Machine Power On and Perform Home Sequence Routine
Follow the procedures detailed in the Operator Functions chapter of the 6DS-SP
Operations manual.
B. CHECK THE CURRENT ADJUSTMENT
1. Observe motion while raising and lowering the left load chuck:
a. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu select Left Load Chuck
Up/Down and choose Up to raise the left load chuck.
b. Select Left Load Chuck Up/Down and choose Down to lower the
left load chuck.
c. Note the motion:
GOAL: The load chuck should travel up and down slowly
and smoothly.
d. If the goal is not met, correct the motion by following the
procedures in Section C., immediately below.
e. If the goal has been met, skip to Right Load Chuck.
C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Remove the Left Front Service Door.
The power to the machine will now turn off.
2. Find the two flow control manifolds for the left load chuck, located on
the valve panel inside the Left Front Service Door.
3. Rotate each flow control manifold to fully counterclockwise.
4. Replace the service door and power up the machine.
5. Retest the motion by repeating Section B., above.
The load chuck should now come up too quickly.
