SLURRY SYSTEM
SLURRY DIAPHRAGM PUMP
PRESSURE
The two slurry pumps, located at the left rear of the machine, are air driven
diaphragm pumps that "squeeze" slurry solution into the delivery lines.
Each diaphragm pump has an air regulator to adjust the volume flow of slurry
solution. This adjustment should be the minimum pressure necessary to maintain
slurry solution volume flow through the lines to the peristaltic pumps. Greater
pressure than necessary could cause the delivery lines to expand from the
increased load.
Note: Be sure to complete the procedure below before doing the
Slurry Flow Calibration procedure found in the Software
Calibration Procedures chapter of this manual.
