FORMATTING DISKETTES
Follow the steps below to format high density diskettes:
1. Label diskettes as needed (for example, 6DS-SP Backup Disk 1.
2. Remove the Left Front Service Door to access the diskette drive of the
Control Computer.
3. Format the diskette(s):
Operator Action Explanation/Screen Display
a. FORMAT A:
<Enter> At the DOS prompt (C:\QB45>), type
“FORMAT A:”.
Follow the onscreen directions for
inserting and formatting a diskette.
When you have finished formatting:
b. N <Enter> Press “N” to say no to formatting
more diskettes.
Screen displays the DOS prompt:
C:\QB45>
4. Replace the Left Front Service Door.
