How to Assemble & Install the Streetwize
Deluxe Headrest Mount Dog Guard
Important: We highly advise that two people are involved
when installing this dog guard to your vehicle.
To assemble & install the dog guard to your vehicle, please
follow the instructions below:
1. Remove the Streetwize Deluxe Headrest Mount Dog
Guard and headrest mount fixing brackets from its
packaging and dispose of the packaging in the correct
manner.
2. With the supplied headrest mount fixing brackets,
secure it at the bottom of the dog guard where you
will find four holes on each of the poles (see Figure 1)
3. Once the fixings have been attached, unscrew the bracket using the screw caps on
either side of the grip to open up the bracket. Do not fully unscrew the screw caps,
only unscrew it to the end of the bolt. On doing so, you can pivot the bolts outwards,
allowing you to open up your bracket, ready for you to fit on to your vehicle’s rear
headrests (see figure 2 & 3 below).
4. Make sure your boot is clear so you
have enough room to install the
guard. Then position the guard to
your vehicle’s rear seat headrests.
