the
Jack
mcchani

the
UP
position,

the

the

bump
er
bar
.
5.
Use
c
hisel
end
of
jack

andl
e to
remove
hub
cover.
Then
place
chi
sel
en
d of j
ack
in
the
jack
mechanis
m
an
d j
ac
k
up
the
car
.
NOT
E--
If
tire
to
be
changed
is
on
a
fron
t
wheel

ack
up
only
a
few
notche
s
to
be
sure
jac
k
is
secure,
then
star
t w

ug

uts
loose
before
cont
inu
ing
the
jacking
up
process.
On
rear
whe
els,
th
e
pa
r
king
brake
will ho
ld
the
wheel so
that
the
nuts
can
be loosened
after
the
car
has
been
jacked
up.
6.
Raise
ca
r
with
ja
ck
u
ntil
wheel
is
free
of
th
e r
oad
and
c
an
rotate
fu
ll circle.
This
is
important
to
be
su
re you h
ave
enough
clearanc
e
to
in
st
ali'
spare.
7.
On wheels
on
the
lef
t
side
of
the
car,
the
wheel
lug
nut
s
are
left-
hand
threaded.
To
remove
the
m,
use
the
hexag
on
al
wrench
end
of
the
jack
handle
and
tu
rn
the
nuts
clockwise. On
wheels
on
the
right
s
ide
of
the
ca
r,
the
nu
ts
are
removed by
turn
i
ng
t
hem
co
unter
cloc
kw
ise.
Nut
s are
installed
by
tur
ning
them
in
the
direc-
tion oppo
site
to
th
at
used
in
removing
the
m.
8. L
ower
jack
by
first
plac
ing
j
ac
k
mechanism
lever
in
its
DO
WN
pos
it
ion
and
work
the
jack
with
th
e
handle
in
the
same
man
ner
as
w
hen
raisi
ng
car
.
9. Re

ce
to
ols
and
spare
in
th
is
ord
er:

at

e
right
of
the
spare
wheel
well.
