2.8 AUTO RECORD mode

loop with

drop-in/drop-out can be
executed with the AUTO
RECORD
function.
ln addition a PREROLL and POSTROLL
can be
programmed
so that
the
editing operation can be simulated electronically
with the REHEARSE
function before it is
subsequently executed.
IN
POINT
OUT POINT
First the lN
and OUT
points
must be defined. The
lN
point
is written into
the
LOCATE
POSITION memory either by reading
out
a LOCATE
POSITION
memory,
by copying the current TAPE POSITION
with
the
t
key,
or by manually
entering
it via the keypad. For having the value
defined
as the
lN
point,
the keys
TRANS/REV
PI-AY and lN must be
pressed
consecutively.
The
same
procedure
applies analogously to the
OUT
point.
After this
entry the lN and OUT
point
can
be
checked
by
pressing
the
tN
or OUT
key.
The lN or OUT
point
is shown on the TAPE
POSITION
display
for as tong
as
the corresponding
key is
pressed.
As soon as
this key
is released,
the current
tape timer
reading reappears on
the TAPE POSITION
display.
