CYBERWALL™ INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
INSTALLATION
Receiving the Equipment
Your CyberWall™ unit has been inspected and tested prior to shipment. To ensure it is received in factory
condition, immediately inspect the unit for damage incurred during shipment. If any is found, report it to
the carrier immediately. Any obvious shipping damage must be noted on the freight carrier’s delivery forms
before signing for the equipment. Freight claims must be filed through the freight carrier.
Generally, all equipment ships FOB Factory. In the event of damage during shipment, STULZ can assist in the
claim filing process with the freight company. Refer to section 5.0 Product Support for instructions.
Carefully remove the shipping cover. Remove any loose parts and check the equipment against the packing
list to verify the shipment is complete. Report all discrepancies to the appropriate authority. Inspect the
interior of the unit for any signs of transit-incurred damage. If there is any damage, notify STULZ Product
Support. Do not attempt any repairs.
A data package has been sent with your unit. It contains this manual, system drawings, applicable Safety Data
Sheets, warranty registration form and other component manuals and applicable instructions based on the
configuration and options included with your unit. The data package has been placed in your unit inside a
clear plastic bag. These documents should be retained with the unit for future reference.
NOTE
Items that have been shipped loose, are shipped inside the air conditioner unless specified otherwise by
the customer. Unpack and store these items in a safe place unless you are using them immediately.
Storage
Indoor Storage
Indoor air handlers and field-installed accessories must be protected from the elements. Outdoor storage is
not recommended for units that will be installed indoors. A controlled indoor environment is recommended
for proper storage. The indoor storage area conditions should be maintained between 41°F to 86°F (5°C
to 30°C) and a non-condensing environment, unless specified otherwise. If the unit is to be stored after
unpacking from the original factory packaging, then it should be repackaged using equivalent means and
material. Ensure the follow to prevent damage:
• Do not remove the factory cover. Ensure cover is complete and was not penetrated during shipping. Repair
cover as needed. The shrink-wrapped packaging used has a corrosion inhibitor layer integrated.
• If the factory shrink-wrap cover has been removed, cover the unit securely with a canvas tarp. Plastic tarps
can cause condensation to form in and on the equipment, which could result in corrosion damage or wet
storage stains.
• Place the unit on a dry surface or raised off the ground to assure adequate air circulation beneath the unit
and to assure no portion of the unit will contact standing water at any time.
• Do not stack units.
