2.5 L DOHC Non-turbo models use regular unleaded gasoline
with an octane rating of 87 AKI or higher.
2.5 L DOHC Turbo models use premium unleaded gasoline
with an octane rating of 91 AKI or higher.
Fuel Capacity
• 16.9 US gal (64 liters, 14.1 lmp gal)
When the low fuel indicator light is displayed on the
instrument panel approximately 2.6 U.S. gallons of fuel remain.
If you have recently fueled your vehicle, the Check
Engine light on the instrument panel may stay on due
to a missing or loose fuel ller cap (the cap should be
tightened until a click is heard).
Engine Oil
Use only the following oils:
ILSAC GF-4 or GF-5, which can be identied with the
ILSAC certication mark (Starburst mark).
Or API classication SN or SM with the words
“ENERGY CONSERVING”.
- 2.5 L DOHC Non-turbo models use 0W 20 synthetic,
replacement interval 7,500 miles; no requirement at
the rst 3,000 miles.
- 2.5 L DOHC Turbo models use 5W 30 synthetic,
replacement interval 7,500 miles; no requirement at
the rst 3,000 miles.
Engine Oil Capacity
• 2.5 L DOHC Non-turbo models: 5.5 US qt (5.2 liters, 4.6 lmp qt)
• 2.5 L DOHC Turbo models: 4.4 US qt (4.2 liters, 3.7 lmp qt)
