Fuel
• 2.5 L DOHC Non-turbo models use regular unleaded gasoline
with an octane rating of 87 AKI or higher.
• 2.5 L DOHC Turbo models use premium unleaded gasoline
with an octane rating of 91 AKI or higher.
Fuel Capacity
• 16.9 US gal (64 liters, 14.1 lmp gal)
• When the low fuel indicator light is displayed on the
instrument panel approximately 2.6 U.S. gallons of fuel remain.
• If you have recently fueled your vehicle, the Check
Engine light on the instrument panel may stay on due
to a missing or loose fuel ller cap (the cap should be
tightened until a click is heard).
Engine Oil
Use only the following oils:
• ILSAC GF-4 or GF-5, which can be identied with the
ILSAC certication mark (Starburst mark).
• Or API classication SN or SM with the words
“ENERGY CONSERVING”.
- 2.5 L DOHC Non-turbo models use 0W 20 synthetic,
replacement interval 7,500 miles; no requirement at
the rst 3,000 miles.
- 2.5 L DOHC Turbo models use 5W 30 synthetic,
replacement interval 7,500 miles; no requirement at
the rst 3,000 miles.
Engine Oil Capacity
• 2.5 L DOHC Non-turbo models: 5.5 US qt (5.2 liters, 4.6 lmp qt)
• 2.5 L DOHC Turbo models: 4.4 US qt (4.2 liters, 3.7 lmp qt)
