    • J
      Joel HarrisJul 27, 2025
If you cannot make or receive calls in your Subaru Automobile, it is likely that your vehicle is in a “No Service” area. Move to a location where “No Service” no longer appears on the display.

Why is my Subaru Automobile hands-free system or Bluetooth device not working?
    • M
      Melanie GarciaAug 2, 2025
If the hands-free system or Bluetooth device in your Subaru Automobile isn't working, it could be due to a few reasons. The connected device might not be a compatible Bluetooth cellular phone. To check compatibility for USA customers, visit www.subaru.com for details. If you are outside of the USA, contact your local dealer to arrange a demonstration to confirm if the device can be paired with the vehicle. Also, the Bluetooth version of your cellular phone might be older than what's supported. Use a cellular phone with Bluetooth version 1.1 or higher; version 2.1 + EDR or higher is recommended.

Why can't I transfer phonebook data manually to my Subaru Automobile?
    • P
      Paul LynnAug 8, 2025
Manual phonebook data transfer might fail in your Subaru Automobile due to a couple of reasons. First, the profile version of your connected cell phone may not be compatible. Contact your local dealer to arrange a demonstration to confirm device compatibility. Second, the transfer operation on your cell phone might not be complete. Ensure you complete the transfer operation on your cell phone by approving the transfer on the phone.

What to do if troubleshooting steps don't change the symptom status in my Subaru WRX STI?
    • J
      jessicamullinsAug 14, 2025
If the symptom status in your Subaru Automobile remains unchanged despite troubleshooting, consider these steps: Ensure your cell phone is close to the system. If that doesn't work, try turning your cell phone off, removing and reinstalling the battery, and then restarting it. Also, enable the cell phone’s Bluetooth connection. Stop the cell phone’s security software and close all applications. Before using an application installed on the cell phone, carefully check its source and how its operation might affect this system.

What to do if my Subaru WRX STI Automobile cellular phone cannot be registered?
    • T
      Tyler YangAug 20, 2025
If your Subaru Automobile cellular phone cannot be registered, it might be due to several reasons. First, double-check that you're entering the correct passcode on your phone. An incorrect passcode will prevent registration. Also, ensure that you complete the registration operation on your phone by approving the registration request. If you've tried these steps and still face issues, old registration information might be the culprit. To resolve this, delete any existing registration information from both your Subaru system and your cellular phone. After clearing the old data, try registering your phone again.
