The Sulion MARINA M is a modern ceiling fan designed for energy efficiency and quiet operation. It features a direct current (DC) motor, which provides high energy efficiency and a significant volume of air circulation with reduced noise. The fan is equipped with a remote control that allows for various settings, including fan speed, light control, and rotation direction for summer and winter modes. It also includes a "Nature Wind" mode that simulates a natural breeze by automatically varying fan speeds. The fan's lighting system offers adjustable color temperature (3000K, 4000K, 5000K) and dimmable light intensity.

Usage Features

The fan is controlled via a remote control, offering the following functionalities:

Fan ON/OFF: Dedicated buttons to turn the fan on and off.
Light ON/OFF: Dedicated buttons to turn the light on and off.
Fan Speed Adjustment: Five distinct speed settings.
Nature Wind Mode: Automatically varies fan speeds to simulate a natural breeze. This function is activated when the fan is already running at a certain speed. Pressing any other button will cancel this mode.
Timer Function: Allows setting the fan to turn off after 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours. Any button press after setting a timer will cancel the timer.
Light Intensity Adjustment: Dimmable light feature.
Color Temperature Change: Allows switching between 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K.
Rotation Direction (Summer/Winter): A switch on the remote control (or on the fan body) controls the direction of rotation (clockwise or counter-clockwise).
- Summer Option (downward airflow): Creates a refreshing effect by pushing air downwards.
- Winter Option (upward airflow): Pushes warm air away from the fan area near the ceiling, allowing for lower heating settings.

Installation Requirements:

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.
The mounting bracket must be securely attached to a ceiling structure capable of supporting at least 30 kg.
Screws must be threaded into the ceiling for at least 30 mm.
If installed on a ceiling junction box, the fan support must be sufficiently secured to prevent loosening or rotation.
The fan blades must be at least 2.3 meters above the floor.
A minimum clearance of 30 cm from walls or other obstacles is required around the fan blades for optimal airflow and to prevent collisions.
The fan's ground wire must be connected to the electrical installation's earth network.
Do not connect the fan's motor power supply to any regulating elements or potentiometers other than the provided control, as this can cause malfunction or damage.
A circuit breaker ensuring a multi-pole break and total disconnection under Category III overvoltage conditions must be incorporated into the electrical connection.
It is not recommended to use this fan simultaneously with gas installations in the same room.
Do not insert objects that could hit the fan blades while rotating to prevent injury, damage, or imbalance.

Troubleshooting:

Remote Control Malfunction: Check connections, ensure new batteries in the remote, and verify all switches are on. If issues persist, resynchronize the receiver and remote. The fan and remote are factory-paired, so resynchronization is only needed for malfunctions. Ensure other ceiling fans in the vicinity are off during synchronization to prevent unintended pairing.
Blade Balancing Problems: If excessive wobbling occurs, a blade balancing kit (which may be included) can be used. Instructions for use are available on the Sulion website or via QR code.

Maintenance Features

Maintenance and Cleaning:

Connection Check: Due to natural movement, some connections may loosen. Check mounting bracket connections, fastening parts, and blade accessories twice a year to ensure they are securely fastened.
Regular Cleaning: Clean the fan regularly to maintain its appearance. Do not use water for cleaning, as it can damage the motor or wood and cause electrical shock.
Surface Cleaning: Use only a soft brush or microfiber cloth to avoid scratching the finish. The veneer is sealed with lacquer to minimize discoloration or loss of shine.
Lubrication: The fan motor does not require oiling as it contains permanently lubricated bearings.
Warranty: Failure to follow maintenance instructions will void the warranty.

Warranty Information:

Coverage: The manufacturer's warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects for up to 3 years from the date of sale. This includes possible repairs or supply of spare parts.
Specific Component Warranties: 5 years for LED diodes and 8 years for the DC fan motor.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover minor complaints like appliance noise (all electric motors generate some noise), excessive noise or wobbling due to loose components (e.g., insufficiently tightened screws) or deformed blades from aggressive cleaning.
Controller Use: The warranty is void if the fan is installed with a wall controller or solid-state dimmer; only the supplied remote control should be used.
Installation: The warranty is valid only if the fan is installed by a certified electrician. Improper installation can be dangerous, costly to repair, and will void the warranty. The fan is designed for indoor use only; protection from water and damp is essential.
Wobbling: All ceiling fans tend to wobble during operation. A movement of a couple of centimeters is acceptable and does not indicate malfunction or risk of falling if correctly mounted. The fan has a secure mounting system with steel brackets and ball joints to allow rotation and prevent vibration transmission to the ceiling structure.
Increased Noise at Night: The warranty does not cover increased perception of fan operating noise at night when the surroundings are quieter. Power supply fluctuations at night that may increase noise are also not considered a malfunction.
Lighting System: Except for extremely rare manufacturing defects, the fan's lights are not covered by the fan warranty. Noise and vibrations may increase when the lighting system is on. Loose diffusers can cause a slight buzz. Regular non-aggressive cleaning and checking of fastened elements can prevent these disturbances. Glass light diffusers are warranted until they reach the distributor's warehouse and are subject to verification upon delivery.
