TIMED AUTO SHUT-OFF
ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE PAR MINUTERIE
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• When the iron is plugged in and turned on, the power indicator
will light steadily, indicating there is power to the iron. Once the
selected temperature is reached, the light will go off and you can
begin to Iron.
• A 45-minute timer will start once the unit has been plugged in.
After 45 minutes, the iron will beep 6 times indicating it will auto-
matically shut-off.
To reset the iron:
• Unplug the iron and then put it back into the wall outlet. This will
restart the timer for the auto shut-off feature.
WARNING: The timed auto shut-off is a safety feature, not a
recommended means for turning your iron off. See the “Storing the
Iron” section for information on turning off your iron and storing it
safely between uses.
• Before cleaning the Iron, always make sure that it is disconnected
from the electrical wall socket and is completely cool.
SOLEPLATE
• Residue on the Soleplate can be wiped off with a cloth soaked in a
solution of water and vinegar.
• Do not use scouring pads, abrasives or chemical cleaning solvents
as they may damage the finish.
HOUSING
• The housing can be cleaned with a moist cloth and then wiped dry.
• Other than the recommended cleaning, no further user
maintenance should be necessary. If for any reason your Steam Iron
should require repairs, do not try to fix it yourself.

• Une minuterie de 45 minutes se met en marche quand on branche

Pour remettre le fer à zéro:
• Débranchez le fer et rebranchez-le dans la prise murale. Cela
remettra en route la minuterie pour la fonction arrêt automatique.
AVERTISSEMENT: L’arrêt automatique par minuterie existe pour des
raisons de sécurité. Ce n’est pas la façon recommandée d’éteindre le
fer. Voyez la section « Rangement du fer » pour renseignements sur
l’arrêt du fer et son rangement sécuritaire entre deux utilisations.
• Avant de nettoyer le fer à vapeur, assurez-vous toujours qu’il est
débranché de la prise murale et qu’il est complètement refroidi.
SEMELLE
• Essuyez les résidus sur la semelle à l’aide d’un chiffon trempé dans
une solution d’eau et de vinaigre.
• N’utilisez jamais de tampons à récurer, de produits abrasifs ou de
nettoyants chimiques: ils pourraient endommager le revêtement
antiadhésif.
BOÎTIER
• Vous pouvez nettoyer le boîtier à l’aide d’un chiffon humide. En-
suite, passez un chiffon sec pour bien le sécher.
• À part le nettoyage recommandé, aucun autre entretien n’est
requis par l’utilisateur. N’essayez pas de réparer par vous-même le
fer à vapeur si celui-ci a besoin d’être réparé pour quelque raison
que ce soit.
