STORING THE IRON
• Your Sunbeam

Steam Iron includes a Storage Strip Indicator which
changes from red to black when the iron is ready for safe storage.
• Turn off the iron and disconnect the plug from the electrical wall
socket.
• Set the Iron in an upright position and let it cool down completely.
• Set the Steam Select Switch to the closed position.
• Empty out all the water remaining in the Water Reservoir by open-
ing the Water Reservoir Lid and inverting the Iron over the sink.
• The Power Cord can be wound around the Heel Rest for easier and
tidy storing once the unit has cooled down. The Iron should always
be stored in an upright position.

• Éteignez le fer et débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique murale.
• Placez le fer en position verticale et laissez-le refroidir
complètement.
• Réglez le bouton de sélection de vapeur sur la position fermée.
• Videz le réservoir. Pour ce faire, tenez le fer au-dessus de l’évier,
retournez-le et ouvrez le couvercle du réservoir.
• Une fois que le fer est froid, enroulez le cordon d’alimentation
autour du talon d’appui pour permettre un rangement propre et
ordonné. Veillez à ce que le fer soit toujours entreposé en position
verticale.
