1.Usingthericemeasuringcupprovided,
measureouttherequiredquantityofrice,
makingsurethatthericeisalevelcup
full.RefertotheRiceCookingChartson
page 8.
2.Placethemeasuredriceinasieveand
washricethoroughlyundercoldwater.
Continuewashingriceuntilwaterruns
clear.Makingsuretoshakeoffanyexcess
liquidoncewashed.Thisremovesexcess
starchwhichwillmakethericefluffier.
3.Ensuretheexteriorofthecookingpanis
cleananddrybeforeplacinginsidethe
heatingvessel.
4.Placethewashedriceinthecookingpan,
andaddcoldwater.Makesurethatthe
riceisspreadevenlyinthebottomofthe
pan.
5.Replacethelid.
6.PresstheMENUbuttonuntiltheRICE
lightisilluminated.Whenriceiscooked,
theunitwillbeepandautomaticallyswitch
toKEEPWARM.
7.TheSunbeamRisottoandRicePerfect
willremainontheKEEPWARMsetting
for30minutesuntilyou’rereadyto
serve.After30minutesitwillswitchoff,
thiswillensurethericeiswarmbutnot
overcooked.
