The Sunding Bicycle Computer SD-548B is a 14-function device designed to track various cycling metrics.
The computer offers a comprehensive set of functions to monitor your ride:
Computer Battery Installation: To install the battery, remove the battery cover from the bottom of the computer using a flat blade screwdriver. Insert an AG13 battery with the positive (+) pole facing the battery cover. If the LCD shows irregular figures, remove and re-install the battery.
Speedometer Sensor Installation: Attach the speedometer sensor bracket to the left fork blade using shims to adjust the diameter and cable ties to secure it. Position the sensor and magnet so that the magnet's arc intersects the alignment mark on the sensor with 1mm clearance.
Mounting Shoe Installation: Attach the mounting shoe to the handlebar using cable ties. Adjust the shoe on the handlebar with shims to hold its position.
Sensor Wiring: Route the sensor wire up the fork blade, securing it with cable ties at the bottom and crown to prevent it from hindering front wheel movement.
Computer Attachment: Slide the computer onto the mounting shoe until it snaps firmly into position. To remove, press the button on it in the opposite direction. To check for proper speed function, spin the front wheel with the computer in speed mode and adjust the sensor and magnet if there's no or weak reaction.
Wheel Size Input: When the battery is installed, '2060' appears with one figure flashing. Use the provided table to find the correct wheel circumference. Press the RIGHT button to advance digits and the LEFT button to confirm. The circumference range is 0mm to 9999mm. After confirmation, press the LEFT button to enter KM/M mode.
Setting (km/h)/(m/h): In this mode, press the RIGHT button to choose between km/h or m/h. Press the LEFT button to enter CLOCK mode.
CLK Mode (12H/24H): Press the LEFT button for 3 seconds to enter 12/24H selection. Re-press the LEFT button to toggle between 12/24H. Press the RIGHT button to enter Hour setting mode; when the hour figure flashes, press the LEFT button to adjust it. Continue pressing the RIGHT button to enter Minute setting mode; when the minute figure flashes, press the LEFT button to adjust it and the RIGHT button to confirm. Re-press the RIGHT button to enter ODO mode.
Setting the Last Value of Odometer: In ODO mode, press the LEFT button for 2 seconds to set the ODO value (initial value is 0000.0). When a figure flashes, press the RIGHT button to adjust it and the LEFT button to confirm, then proceed to set the next figure. This allows you to input the latest odometer value if the battery was re-installed.
Reset of Mileage Parameter: In ODO mode, press and hold both RIGHT and LEFT buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to clear the circumference value and cancel (km/m) setting. You will then need to reset the tyre circumference and (km/m). The original ODO value and CLOCK will remain unaffected.
Speed Comparator: During riding, a '+' or '-' indicator shows if your current speed is higher or lower than your average speed.
Odometer (ODO): The total distance is displayed. When the value exceeds 99999 km/m, it resets to 0. Press the RIGHT button to enter DST mode.
Trip Distance (DST): The distance for one trip is displayed on the bottom line. When the value exceeds 99999 km/m, it resets to 0. Both time and distance records are cleared if the trip time exceeds its limit. Press the LEFT button for 5 seconds to clear DST, MXS, AVS, and TM records to 0. Press the RIGHT button to enter MXS mode.
Maximum Speed (MXS): The maximum speed is displayed on the bottom line. Press the LEFT button for 5 seconds to clear MXS, DST, AVS, and TM records to 0. Press the RIGHT button to enter AVS mode.
Average Speed (AVS): The average speed is displayed on the bottom line. Press the LEFT button for 5 seconds to clear AVS, DST, MXS, and TM records to 0. Press the RIGHT button to enter TM mode.
Trip Time (TM): The trip time is displayed on the bottom line. When the value exceeds 99:59:59, it resets to 0. Press the LEFT button for 5 seconds to clear TM, DST, MXS, and AVS records to 0. Press the RIGHT button to enter SCAN mode.
SCAN Mode: DST, MXS, AVS, and TM modes are indicated in turn every 4 seconds. Press the RIGHT button to enter CLOCK mode.
Sleep Mode: If no signal is received for 300 seconds, the computer enters Sleep Mode, retaining the CLK value. It will return to the former mode with all collected data when any signal is input or any button is pressed.
Freeze Frame Memory: Press the LEFT button at any time to enter freeze frame memory mode. Flashing TM data will appear. Press the RIGHT button to view DST, MXS, AVS, and TM records. Press the LEFT button to exit.
