      To address insufficient total head in your Sundyne Water Pump, first, compare the total head and flow rate against the performance curve. Ensure the driver shaft rotation matches the arrow on the pump casing, as incorrect rotation can cause issues. If the flow is too low, causing overheating, increase the flow rate or bypass some discharge to the supply tank. Check for obstructions or damage in the diffuser discharge throat and impeller; clean and restore surfaces as needed.

      If your Sundyne Water Pump isn't flowing or building pressure at start-up, first ensure the pump is completely filled with liquid and bleed any vapor or air from port 6. If pumping low-temperature fluid, allow more cool-down time. Check the suction line for air leaks if the suction pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure. Inspect the suction line for blockages, excessive pressure drop, vapor pockets, or insufficient tank level/pressure. Also, consider if entrained air or a more volatile fluid is affecting NPSH. Finally, disassemble and inspect for drive component failures or missing parts, and confirm the driver shaft rotation matches the arrow on the pump casing.
