Air Supply Requirements
Toolsoperateonawiderangeofairpressures.Werecommendthatairpressuremeasures90psigatthetoolwiththetriggerfullydepressedand
noloadappliedtothetool.Lowpressure(lessthan90psig/6.2bar)reducesthespeedandperformanceofallairtools.Highpressure(over115
psig/8.0bar)exceedstheratedcapacityofthetool,whichwillshortentoollifeandmaycreateahazardouscondition.
Alwaysuseclean,dryair.Dust,corrosivefumes,and/orwaterintheairlinewillcausedamagetothetool.Drainwaterfromairlineandcompressor
priortorunningtool.Cleantheairinletfilterscreenweekly.Theairinletusedforconnectingtheairsupplyhasstandard1/4"NPTAmericanThread.
Linepressureshouldbeincreasedtocompensateforunusuallylongairhoses(over25feet).Minimumhosediametershouldbe3/8"I.D.Fittings
should have the same inside dimensions and should be tightly secured.
Ensure an accessible emergency shut off valve has been installed in the air supply line and make others aware of its location.
Alwaysturnofftheairsupply,drainhoseofairpressureanddetachtoolfromairsupplybeforeinstalling,removingoradjustinganypartoraccessory
on this tool, or before performing any maintenance on this tool.
Lubrication
Lubricatetheairmotordailywithhighqualityairtooloil.Ifnoairlineoilerisused,run1/2oz.ofoilthroughthetool.Theoilcanbesquirtedintothe
toolairinletorintothehoseatthenearestconnectiontotheairsupply,thenrunthetool.Arustinhibitiveoilisacceptableforairtools.
WARNING:Afteranairtoolhasbeenlubricated,oilwilldischargethroughtheexhaustportduringthefirstfewsecondsofoperation.Theexhaustport
must be covered with a towel before applying air pressure to prevent serious injury.
Operation
The sander has a reciprocating pad and produces a smooth and professional finish to most surfaces. Suitable for removing paint and rust from metal
surfaces, smoothing edges, shaping welded surfaces including fiberglass and wood surfaces for further finishing. Aftermountingsandpaper,startthis
start this Sander under a bench in order to make sure sandpaper is firmly attached.
Abrasivepapercanbeheldby2clampsorPSApaper.Donotusethetoolforanyotherpurposethanthatforwhichitwasdesigned.Donotmodify
the tool for any other purpose.

Alwaysturnofftheairsupply,drainhoseofairpressureanddetachtoolfromairsupplybeforeinstalling,removingoradjustinganypartoraccessory
onthistool,orbeforeperforminganymaintenanceonthistool.Aftermountingsandpaper,startthisSanderunderabenchinordertomakesure
sandpaper is firmly attached. Applylightpressuretotheworkareaandallowthesandpapertoprovidethedesiredfinish.
Becarefulwhensandingaroundsharpedgestopreventcuttingsandpaperandpad.Changesandpaperwhenwornorclogged.Usesandpaper
specifically sized to the pad.
Periodically check air inlet screen and remove any contaminants.
