Steps:
1. Activate SwiftShield™ arms forward, to 12 o’clock position (straight up).
2. Pull SwiftShield™ cover all the way forward and fit the “Mitt’ over bow of boat.

Fitting the Cover over Bow
Steps:
1. Feed guide ropes through holes in bow sprit pipe.
Tie stopper knot.
2. Attach guide ropes to D-rings on SwiftShield™
cover straps with carabineer.
3. Carefully bring SwiftShield™ arm to full aft posi-
tion.
4. Guide ropes should be slightly slack when cover is
fully fitted and arm is in full aft position.
5. If cover does not pop over shoulder of rub rail,
tighten guide ropes.
6. If ‘Mitt’ size is too large:
 Lengthen the guide ropes
 Lengthen the bow sprit
 Lower the roller in forward position
7. If the cover ‘shoulders’ do not ‘pop’ over the rub
rail when the arms are aft. - Tighten the guide
ropes.
8. To reduce the “Mitt” size, extend bow sprit forward.
