What to do if fluid is found in the bottom of my Sunstream Lifting Systems power pack?
    • S
      stephanie30Aug 15, 2025
If you find fluid at the bottom of the power pack, especially on a new lift, it could be due to air in the system expanding and causing fluid overflow. Check the fluid level after installation and ensure all air is purged from the system. Also, inspect for leaks and tighten hose fittings or gaskets if needed.

    William BrownAug 18, 2025
Why does my Sunstream Lifting Systems key fob transmitter have limited range?
    • A
      Anthony Knight DVMAug 18, 2025
A limited range on your key fob transmitter could be due to a low battery. Check the battery voltage in the key fob transmitter. Also, try holding the transmitter in a different location, such as overhead or in a different spot in the boat. Proximity to cell phone towers, power lines, and other electromagnetic interference can also reduce the range.

What to do if SwiftShield™ does not operate with key fob transmitter buttons on my Sunstream Lifting Systems?
    • T
      Terry PhillipsAug 21, 2025
If the SwiftShield™ doesn't operate with the key fob transmitter buttons, first, check if the lift operates with the manual switches on the RC box. Then, reprogram the key fob transmitter following the instructions in the RC manual. Finally, check the battery voltage in the key fob transmitter.

How to fix a Sunstream Lifting Systems SwiftShield™ that does not operate with the manual switch on the RC box?
    • A
      anthony26Aug 25, 2025
If the SwiftShield™ isn't working with the manual switch on the RC box, start by checking if the power on the RC box is turned on. Also, check the battery voltage.

What to do if Sunstream Tent lift does not operate with key fob transmitter buttons?
    • S
      Shannon CarrollAug 27, 2025
First, verify that the lift operates using the manual switches located on the RC box. Then, try re-programming the key fob transmitter following the instructions provided in the RC manual. Lastly, check the battery voltage in the key fob transmitter.

Why does my Sunstream Tent lift begin to lower before the boat is fully uncovered?
    • S
      Shelby HallAug 30, 2025
This issue might occur due to several reasons. First, make sure the cover is properly installed and the roller is adequately torqued. Also, ensure there's enough fluid in the tank and that there is no air in the system. If the problem persists, consider replacing the CBBG valve with a CBBA valve.

How to improve the limited range of my Sunstream Tent key fob transmitter?
    • S
      santanaethanSep 2, 2025
Try checking the battery voltage in the key fob transmitter. Also, experiment with holding the transmitter in a different location, such as overhead or in another area of the boat. Keep in mind that proximity to cell phone towers, power lines, and other sources of electromagnetic interference can reduce the range.

What to do if Sunstream Tent lift does not operate with manual switch on RC box?
    • R
      Richard ValdezSep 5, 2025
First, check that the power to the RC box is turned on. Next, verify the battery voltage.

What to do if I find fluid in the bottom of my Sunstream Tent power pack?
    • M
      Marcia WalkerSep 8, 2025
If it's a new lift, the fluid overflow might be caused by air in the system expanding. Check the fluid level after the installation is complete and all air has been purged from the system. Also, inspect for leaks and tighten hose fittings or gaskets as needed.
  • B
    Brittany WyattSep 12, 2025
What to do if the cover does not actuate after the Sunstream Tent lift is fully raised?
    • M
      Mark MooreSep 12, 2025
First, confirm that the pump relief pressure has been increased by 1/4 turn (250 psi). Next, check that the fluid level is not below the pump intake in the tank. Finally, troubleshoot the SQBB valve, confirm pressure reaches 3350 psi, and replace the valve if required.
