Safety
This unit can produce harmful radiation. Avoid direct contact with the eyes and skin. The operation of the UV lamp should therefore be checked only via the transparent hose
connector.
-
To
prevent heat build-up, switch o the lamp when no water is owing past it.

When the system is not in use in the winter months, remove the unit due to the risk of freezing
- Insert the plug of the UVC unit in an outdoor socket outlet with a cover (Photo E).

The
local power supplier’s conditions must be met prior to permanent connection to the mains supply. If in doubt about the connection, consult a registered tter or your
local
power supplier. Always use an earth switch.

The power cable of the UVC unit cannot be replaced. In the event of damage to the cable, the entire electrical section must be discarded.

The
unit should be switched o before using water treatment agents and/or pond sh medications.
Warranty Conditions
The product is guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. The lamp and quartz glass are not covered for breakage.
Warranty claims will only be considered if the product is returned carriage paid together with valid proof of purchase. Warranty claims arising from incorrect installation or
operation are excluded. Defects caused by faulty or inadequate maintenance are not covered by this warranty. Repairs under warranty may only be carried out by the supplier.
The supplier is not liable for consequential loss or damage caused by failure, faulty or inadequate maintenance or incorrect use of the product. The warranty lapses if improper
modications are made or attachments are axed to the device which are not part of the standard specication, such as the use of non-standard connectors or the removal or
substitution of electrical plugs.
