10 Installation of the top stoppers (fires with lift-up doors)

Fitting of a solid side (fire 163)
Fire 163 is supplied with 2 glazed sides. A solid side is also supplied with the accessories and may be mounted on the left-hand or right-hand side of the
fire. To avoid any risk, we suggest that you unhinge the door before starting this operation.

Remove the screw (P) and take out the outer side frame on the side
chosen (unclip it and pull hard).

Remove the inner glazing frame by taking out the 4 screws (Q).

Place the self-adhesive seal on the cast iron side, install it inside the
fire and fasten it with the 4 screws (Q) removed earlier and the 4
washers (R) supplied in the bag of screws.

Fasten the side cover onto the outside of the fire using the 8 screws
(S).

The top stoppers allow the door to be blocked in its top position.
Put the top stoppers in place on each of the 2 fixed frame uprights.
These stoppers consist of a screw (C) and a split nut (J) to be pla-
ced as indicated in the figure opposite.
