first. Seat the bottom edge of the battery then
close locking clamp with a firm click.
To remove battery, turn off radio power, open
locking clamp, and slide battery downwards
and outwards.

INSTALL ANTENNA
To install antenna, insert antenna connector
into top of radio and twist clockwise until
firmly seated. Do not over-tighten antenna.
⚠ NOTE
Do not use antenna as carrying handle. This can
damage the antenna and degrade radio
performance.

INSTALL BELT CLIP
Insert belt clip into receptical on back of
battery and push upwards until firmly
locked in place.
▶ INSTALLING THE OPTIONAL
HEADSET
Gently open rubber headset cover. Correctly
orient and insert headset plug into connecting
port until firmly seated
⚠ NOTE
Headset port is not for charging radio. Improper
usage can result in equipment damage.
