What to do if streamed audio from SurfLink Media 2 Media Converter is not synchronized with the television picture?
    • M
      Michele GeorgeAug 16, 2025
If the streamed audio is not synchronized with the television picture when using SurfLink Media Converter, it may be due to the television processing the video signal slowly. You can try using another audio output jack on your television, which may require a different type of cable. Alternatively, try using another electronic audio source. Some devices also have a built-in option to adjust the timing of audio and video.

Why is the LED solid green on my SurfLink Media 2 but I hear no streamed sounds in my hearing aids?
    • D
      Dennis SavageAug 18, 2025
If the LED on your SurfLink Media Converter is solid green but you aren't hearing any streamed sounds, it could be due to several reasons: * Your hearing aids may be out of wireless range. Try moving closer to the SurfLink Media 2 and adjust the Streaming Activation Control slider to the far right. * Telephone memory might be active. Make sure your hearing aid is in a memory capable of streaming, as streaming stops when telephone memory is active. * The current audio fidelity setting may not be supported by your hearing aid. Adjust the audio fidelity switch to the bottom position.

      James VelasquezAug 21, 2025
If your hearing aids are unexpectedly dropping out of audio streaming while using SurfLink Media Converter, here are a few things to check: * Ensure that you are within the wireless range of the SurfLink Media 2 by moving closer to it. * Replace the hearing aid battery with a new one, as a low battery level can prevent audio streaming. * Re-orient the SurfLink Media 2 by turning it a few degrees to the right or left to optimize streaming. * Make sure there are no large objects obstructing the signal between your hearing aids and the SurfLink Media 2. For best performance, maintain a line-of-sight and keep your hearing aids at about the same elevation as the SurfLink Media 2.

Why does my SurfLink Hearing Aid keep losing audio streaming?
    • A
      Amy PageAug 31, 2025
If your SurfLink Hearing Aid unexpectedly drops out of audio streaming, it might be due to several reasons. First, you may be on the edge of the wireless range, so move closer to SurfLink Media. Alternatively, the battery level in your hearing instrument might be too low; replace it with a new one. The SurfLink Media might not be positioned correctly, so try re-orienting it by turning it a few degrees to the right or left. Lastly, a large object might be degrading the signal; ensure your hearing instruments are within line-of-sight and at the same elevation as the SurfLink Media.
