Cleaning/Backwashing the Ultra Filter Pre-Filter
Fill the Syringe with clean, filtered water.
Attach the end of the
Syringe to the Water Outlet Tip
of the Ultra Filter Pre-Filter.
Push the water in the Syringe through the Ultra
Filter-Pre Filter.
Repeat as needed and backwash up to 100,000 liters.

Backwashing can be done once you return from your trip
and can even be performed while on the trail. To backwash
while on the trail or in the wilderness, make sure that you
have saved some clean water that has already been filtered.
