ELECTRIC STARTER SWITCH “” 3
This switch is used for operating the starter
motor. With the ignition switch in the “ON”
position, the engine stop switch in “”, the
clutch disengaged, push the electric starter
switch to operate the starter motor and start
the engine.
NOTE: This motorcycle is equipped with an
interlock system for the ignition circuit and
the starter circuit. The engine can only be
started if:
• The transmission is in neutral and the
clutch is disengaged, or
• The transmission is in gear, the side
stand is fully up and the clutch is disen-
gaged.
NOTE: The headlight will go off when the
electric starter switch is pushed.
