Suzuki SV1000K5 - Fuel Level Indicator Switch Inspection

FUEL LEVEL INDICATOR SWITCH INSPECTION
I,
Remove and disassern ble the fuel pump assembly.
Connect 12 V battery and test bulb (12 Y, 3.4 W) to the fuel level
indicator switch as shown in the right illustrations. The bulb
should come on after several seconds if the switch is in gmd
condition.

When the switch is immersed in kerosine under the above con-
dition, the bulb should go out. If the bulb remains lit. replace the
unit with a new one.
