ELECTRIC STARTER BUTTON “” 3
Push in the electric starter button to operate
the starter motor.
NOTE: If the brake lever is not squeezed,
the starter motor will not operate.
THROTTLE GRIP 4
Engine speed is controlled by the position of
the throttle grip. Twist it toward you to
increase engine speed. Turn it away from
you to decrease the engine speed.
CAUTION
To prevent electrical system damage, do
not operate the starter motor more than
five seconds at a time.
If the engine does not start after several
attempts, check the fuel supply and igni-
tion system. Refer to the TROUBLE-
SHOOTING section in this manual.
