Water for Mixing
Use distilled water only. Water other
than distilled water can corrode and
clog the aluminum radiator.
Required amount of engine coolant/
water solution capacity (total):
2650 ml (2.8 US qt)
NOTE: This 50% mixture will protect the
cooling system from freezing at temper-
atures above –31°C (–24°F). If the
motorcycle is to be exposed to tempera-
ture below –31°C (–24°F), this mixing
ratio should be increased up to 55%
(–40°C/–40°F) or 60% (–55°C/–67°F)
coolant. The mixing ratio should not
exceed 60% coolant.
Engine coolant 1325 ml (1.4 US qt)
