FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
INDICATOR LIGHT “FI” 6
If the fuel injection system fails, the red
indicator light 6 comes on and the dis-
play indicates “FI” at the clock display in
the following two modes;
A. The display 7 in the odometer dis-
play area indicates “FI” intermit-
tently, and the red indicator light 6
comes on and remains lit.
B. The display 7 in the odometer dis-
play area indicates “FI” continuously
and the red indicator light 6 blinks
while cranking the engine.
The engine may continue to run in
mode A, but the engine will not run in
mode B.
NOTICE
The fuel injection indicator light
comes on to indicate a problem with
the fuel injection system.
If the display indicates “FI” and the
red indicator light comes on, have
your authorized Suzuki dealer or a
qualified mechanic inspect the fuel
injection system as soon as possi-
ble.
