• Check that both tires are properly
inflated to the specified tire pressure
for your loading conditions. Refer to
page 7-57.
• Improperly loading your motorcycle
can reduce your ability to balance
and steer the motorcycle. You
should ride at reduced speeds, less
than 130 km/h (80 mph), when you
are carrying cargo or have added
accessories.
• Adjust suspension setting as neces-
sary.

Placing objects in the space behind
the windshield can interfere with
steering and can cause loss of con-
trol.
Do not carry any objects in the space
behind the windshield.
