10.12.3) Main Shaft Motor and Upper/Lower Shaft Belts
1) Adjustment of Main Shaft Belt
Set the belt tension of the main shaft motor belt by making the belt pressed 2~3mm when the center of
the belt span is pressed with the power of 11Kg (F)
When adjusting the belt tension, loosen the fixed screws for the motor bracket (5 places). When the
adjusting screw for the tension is fastened, the tension gets stronger. Otherwise, the belt tension gets
weaker.

2) Adjustment of Upper/Lower Shaft Timing Belt
To adjust the tension of the upper/lower
shaft belt, slightly press the tense side of
the belt with a thumb, which is the opposite
side of the idler. Then, the belt should be
elastic as a spring.
When adjusting the timing belt tension, as
in the figure, loosen the tightening screws
for the bracket (2 places) and adjust the
bracket location of the idler.

When adjusting the belt tension, make sure that the belt is aligned properly.
