This document describes the SYLVANIA SP740-C Light Up Bluetooth Speaker, a portable audio device designed for versatile playback and recording. The speaker features Bluetooth connectivity, AUX, USB, and TF card inputs, FM radio, and a microphone input, making it suitable for various audio applications.
The SYLVANIA SP740-C is a multi-functional speaker that allows users to play audio from several sources. Its primary function is as a Bluetooth speaker, enabling wireless audio streaming from compatible devices. It also supports playback from physical media via USB and TF card inputs, and can connect to external audio devices through its AUX input. An integrated FM radio tuner provides access to local radio stations. The microphone input allows for karaoke or public address use. A unique "Light Up" feature adds visual appeal, which can be toggled on or off. The speaker also includes a recording function, allowing users to capture audio from Bluetooth mode onto a TF card or USB disk.
The unit is turned on/off by twisting the Power/VOLUME dial clockwise/anticlockwise. This same dial also controls the master volume, increasing it clockwise and decreasing it anticlockwise.
The speaker is charged via a DC 5V input. A RED LED indicator signifies that the unit is charging; the light turns off once fully charged. It is recommended to charge the unit for at least 4 hours before its first use. The speaker can operate normally while charging.
The MODE/LED ON button serves two purposes. A long press toggles the "Light Up" feature on or off. A light press cycles through the available playing modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX Input, and USB/TF Card.
To use Bluetooth mode, lightly press the MODE/LED ON button until Bluetooth mode is selected. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (phone, tablet, etc.), search for "Syl SP740" and connect. No matching code is required. Once connected, you can control playback using the Previous/Next and Play/Pause buttons on the speaker.
The TWS feature allows two SP740-C speakers to be paired together for a stereo sound experience.
Connect an audio cable from the AUX IN JACK of the speaker to the audio output socket of an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, discman). Then, select AUX mode by pressing the MODE/LED ON button.
Insert a USB drive or TF card into the respective slot. Lightly press the MODE/LED ON button to select USB or TF card mode for playback.
Lightly press the MODE/LED ON button to switch to FM mode. Short press the PLAY/PAUSE button to automatically scan and save radio stations. Use the Previous/Next buttons to navigate through saved stations.
Plug a microphone directly into the MIC IN JACK for immediate use.
The manual does not explicitly detail maintenance features beyond initial charging instructions. However, general care for electronic devices would apply:
