WEEE Directive
The WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive
was developed by the EU (European Union) to contribute to sustainable
production and consumption of electrical and electronic equipment
throughout the EU. As this directive has been incorporated into national
legislation by EU member states, you should recycle or dispose of this
product in accordance with any applicable local and national laws.
The European WEEE symbol on this product or its packaging indicates
that this equipment must not be disposed of with your other household
waste. Prior to disposal, lithium button batteries should be taken out of
the equipment. Used equipment should be disposed of with relevant
local authorities. Ensure that all of your personal data has been
destroyed before you dispose of your equipment. For more information
about where you can drop off your end-of-life equipment for recycling,
please contact your local government authority, your household waste
disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product. Your
participation is essential in reducing any potential effects of EEE on the
environment and human health due to the presence of hazardous
substances in EEE.
