the
garden
hose
connectors
are
3/4"
diameter
straight
(non-tapered)
thread
with
a
pitch
of
11.5threads
perinch(male
part
has
an
outerdiameterof

1/16
inches
(26.99mm).
nottoinjure
hands
whileconnectingthehose.
5.Place
the
other
end
of
garden
hose
into
a
floor
drain.
Check
to
see
that
the
hose
lies
flat
and
is
in
the
drain.
Make
sure
all
the
parts
of
the
hose
is
on
a
lower
level
than
the
hose
connector
on
the
dehumidifier.Also
,the
outlet
of
the
hose
should
at
lest
5.5"
lower
than
the
hose
connector
.The
hose
should
not
be
kinked
or
pinched.
6.
Reinstall
bucket.
NOTE:
w
To
use
the
bucketwithoutthe
garden
hose,
simply
removethe
garden
hose,
then
reinstall
bucket.

The
bucket
must
be
installed
and
properly
aligned
forthe
dehumidifierto
operate
with
orwithouta
garden
hose
connected.

operating
normally,
you
may
hearsounds
such
as:

Compressor
sounds,
which
may
be
loud.

Air
movementfrom
the
fan.

Clicking
sounds
when
the
dehumidifier
or
compressorturns
on
and
off, and
when
the
Automatic
shut-off
Switch
is
working.
