What to do if the orange LED is flashing on my Tait TP9100?

If the orange LED is flashing, it could be due to several reasons: * The battery is not compatible with the charger. Use only Tait chargers and batteries. * The charger firmware is not compatible with the battery type. See "Checking the firmware version of your charger". * There is insufficient voltage to the charger. Check you are using the correct power adapter. * The battery may be deeply discharged (less than 3 V). Disconnect the battery from the radio and charge the battery. * The battery may be faulty. Consult your radio provider for advice. * If all orange LEDs are flashing on the multi-charger, the charger itself may be faulty (e.g. the fan may be jammed or faulty). Consult your radio provider for advice.

Why is the orange LED steady on my Tait TP9100 Portable Radio charger?

A steady orange LED indicates that the battery is either too hot or too cold. Charging will start or resume once the temperature is within normal limits. No action is required.
