Why is my Tanaka TCH 22EAP2 not trimming well?

If your Tanaka Trimmer isn't trimming well, it might be because you're trying to cut branches thicker than the blade's capacity. Certain garden trees have very hard wood that the tool can't handle, even if the branch's width seems okay. Before using the trimmer, use pruning shears to remove thick branches. Also, cutting at an angle can overload the tool because it increases the cut length. Make sure to trim thick branches at right angles.
