Basket-strainer
(Figure 29)
The basket-strainer is used to:
1. Cook ingredients that do not require mixing or
shredding. (Figure 30).
2. Strain: soups, smoothies, juices, etc.
Secure the basket with the handle or spatula when
straining. (Figure 31).
3. To avoid splashes and to release steam when wor-
king in hot mode, place the basket upside down on
top of the jug lid, ensuring that its measuring jug has
been rst removed (Figure 32).
To remove the basket-strainer from the jug:
The spatula handle ts into the slot of the basket and
is lifted by tugging it slightly.

1. Tray: with a silicone gasket in the base to prevent
liquids from overowing into the space between the
jug and lid.
2. Plastic tray.
3. Steamer lid.
To attach the metallic tray to the jug:
Proceed in the same way as with the lid: Insert the
tray ap into the jug guides (Figure 35), support the
front part on the jug and push as indicated by the
arrow until you hear a click, indicating that it has pro-
perly locked. (Figure 36).
