TEMPERATURE READINGS
The digital thermometer displays current temperature at its location, as well as the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded
over the last 24 hours. The 24 hour period starts when the unit is powered up.
• Current temperature readings display in the left side of the LCD screen
• Maximum temperature records display in the top right of the LCD screen next to the “MAX” icon.
• Minimum temperature records display in the bottom right of the LCD screen next to the “MIN” icon.
• The max/min records will reset every 24 hours, starting from the time the unit is powered up. To manually clear the
max/min records, remove the battery from the unit for at least 1 minute. Reinstall the battery. The max/min temperature
records will reset to the current temperatures.
• The thermometer will update temperature readings approximately every 30 seconds.
• To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature displays, pull off the bottom housing of the thermometer. Move
the switch on the inside housing to either °F or °C. replace the bottom housing.
• If the temperature is higher than the range of the unit, the display will show “HH.H”. If the temperature is lower, the
display will show “LL.L”.
PRECAUTIONS
1. Though the unit is weather resistant, it should be placed away from direct sunlight, rain, snow and should never be
submerged in water. If you spill liquid on it, dry immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not leave it outdoors in extreme
weather conditions. If these conditions become likely to occur, temporarily move the unit to an indoor area otherwise
permanent damage to the unit’s internal circuits may occur.
2. Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive materials. This may scratch plastic parts and corrode electronic circuits.
3. Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, temperature or humidity. This may result in malfunction, shorter
electronic life span, damaged batteries or distorted parts.
4. Do not tamper with the unit’s internal components. Doing so will invalidate the warranty on this product and may cause
damage. Other than replacing the battery, the unit contains no user-serviceable parts.
5. This product is for measuring weather temperatures only. DO NOT PLACE UNIT INTO OVENS, GRILLS, FREEZERS or
MICROWAVE OVENS.
6. Always read the instruction manual before operating this product.
