Thank you for purchasing a Taylor® thermometer. This
state-of-the art measurement instrument is engineered
and designed to meet the highest quality standardsto
assure you uncompromising accuracy and consistently
dependable, convenient performance. In order to
optimize its function, please read this instruction
manual carefully before use…and keep it handy for
future reference.
Battery Information
The thermometer operates on 2 AAA batteries
(included). Change the battery when the display
becomes dim or when LCD shows "bLo", this give
the indication of low battery. To install the
batteries:
1. Open the battery compartment door.
2. Insert the batteries as indicated by the polarity
symbols (+ and -) marked on the inside of the
battery compartment.
3. Replace battery compartment door.
General Operation
1. Sterilize the metal probe by inserting it into an
appropriate solution such as boiling water for
several minutes.
2. The unit will turn on automatically when the
probe is unfolded.
3. To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius
temperature scales, press the “°F/°C t” button.
4. To test the internal temperature of the food,
unfold the metal probe and insert it into the
