23 Descaling
7. Clean the water tank, used capsule container, drip tray
and grid as described in the section “Cleaning”.
Rinsing phase
8. To start the rinsing phase, rinse out the water tank
using fresh water and fill it with cold tap water to the
MAX mark.
9. Place an empty container with a capacity of at least
250 ml under the spout.
10. Press the flashing (middle) coffee selection button to
start rinsing.
The left and right-hand indicator lights will each flash
twice alternately.
11. Approx. 500 ml will be rinsed through. Keep an eye on
the container and empty it, before it overflows.
When it has finished, the middle coffee selection button,
and the left and right-hand indicator lights will again flash
alternately.
12. Press the flashing (middle) coffee selection button.
Descaling is finished. All three coffee selection buttons
will flash. The machine will heat up to prepare coffee.
